Michael initially studied to become a music teacher at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland from 2011-2015. During his time as a student teacher, he worked with a variety of pupils from different backgrounds and musical abilities across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.  The course taught Michael valuable lessons about organisation and discipline with regards to both teaching and music, and a skill that is important across all career paths, communication. As a result of his time on the B.Ed course, Michael can play the piano, guitar, bass guitar and drum kit.
